Water for Philippines
With Project PEARLS
Clean and safe water for relocated families in St. Martha, Bulacan
In St. Martha, Bulacan, over 600 relocated families face daily challenges accessing clean and safe water. Without reliable water, residents are at higher risk of illness and spend additional time and money securing water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene. Providing safe water is essential to improving health, reducing financial burdens, and supporting the well-being of the entire community.
Xylem Watermark is partnering with Project PEARLS, an organization dedicated to empowering underserved children and families, to install a locally serviceable water filtration and pump system. Together, they are creating reliable water access points and building community capacity to maintain the system.
Xylem solution
- Install a fully automatic filtration system integrated with existing wells and cisterns
- Set up community water access points and train local operators on system maintenance
- Monitor water quality and ensure the system runs reliably for long-term use
