In rural communities of the Dominican Republic, families face daily struggles to access safe water. Without reliable infrastructure, women and children often walk long distances or depend on costly truck deliveries, leaving households vulnerable and limiting opportunities for health, education, and growth.
Xylem Watermark is partnering with BLUE Missions, an organization that connects families to clean water while empowering youth to lead sustainability projects. Together, we are building a system that will bring safe water directly to every home in the community.

- Construction of a small dam to capture water at its source
- Installation of pipelines to transport and store water in an elevated tank
- Distribution lines and household connections to deliver running water directly to families
Beneficiaries: 28 families (around 100 people), mostly women and children
