Proven UV solutions for corrosion resistant applications
Made of non-corrosive polyethylene (HDPE), the Wedeco A/B-PE Series UV systems are most suitable for the disinfection of seawater or saltwater and other corrosive substances.
The UV disinfection systems of the A/B-PE Series inactivate bacteria, viruses, yeasts, parasites and cryptosporidium efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner without the use of chemicals.
Safe and reliable disinfection is guaranteed by industry leading authorities (Type Approval of Norwegian Veterinary Institute) and backed by a large, global installed base in various applications including aquaculture, aquariums and thermal springs.
Long-lasting UV lamps and easy-to-use monitoring
At the heart of the A/B-PE Series are low-pressure, high-output, amalgam lamps. The efficient and temperature-stable Spektrotherm UV lamps inside the disinfection reactor guarantee maximum disinfection from very cold to hot temperatures. It's excellent UVC output is attributed to high efficiency and outstanding temperature stability.
The Spectrum Emission Controller (SEC) handles all control and monitoring functions of the UV system. An easy-to-operate front panel with a large display provides continuous information on all operating conditions. The stable, calibrated UV sensor, certified according to ÖNORM, measures the intensity.
