Low Fouling Membranes

Low fouling RO membranes feature a neutral membrane surface charge. This neutral membrane surface charge minimizes the adhesion of organic carbons and other ionically charged foulants to the membrane surface. The neutral surface charge of low fouling membranes can result in somewhat lower rejection of specific ionic species depending on type and concentration.
