You can tie 8 VFD’s together via RS-485 connection.

Free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of installation or forty-two (42) months from the date of shipment (which date of shipment shall not be greater than thirty (30) days after receipt of notice that the goods are ready to ship), whichever shall occur first.  

The 3-year warranty will be applied to any pumps assembled out of the factory with hydrovar® X.

In the Xylem X mobile app.  

First connect the unit to a mobile device:

  1. Start the pairing procedure by long pressing the respective button on the unit until the communication LED starts blinking (multifunction button on hydrovar® X+)
  2. In the Xylem mobile app, tap the + button on the dashboard.  The app will show all the active units nearby.
  3. Select the unit from the list that corresponds to the drive unit, recognizing it from the serial number.
  4. The unit will show a 6-digit PIN to be entered in the app to establish the Bluetooth connection.
  5. The app will ask you to give a name to the pump that is being added and proposes to associate it with a plant (plants can be created at this time).  If the pump is not added to a plant, it will be shown in the list of unsorted pumps.  At the first app installation, the user is asked to add a pump.  More than one plant can be associated with the same user account.
  6. Press the save button, the app returns you to the dashboard.  A picture of the plant can be uploaded at this time.
  7. The communication LED will indicate the status of the wireless connection.

Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP

NEMA 4 only.

In general, for installations above 6,500 ft. we have to consider a simultaneous reduction of power and of the maximum allowed input voltage as follows:

  • 1% power reduction every 328 ft. above 3,280 ft. is still applicable
  • ~1.4% voltage reduction every 328 ft. above 6,500 ft. shall be applied

This means that at 8,530 ft. we should not exceed:

  • P2 max ≤ 84% Pn
  • Vin max ≤ 440 V

Ambient temperature -4º F – 140º F (-20ºC - 50ºC). Higher temperatures can be achieved by derating the output amperage of the drive 15% for up to 140º F (60ºC).
