Station FAQs
Station management
Users that manage multiple customers must make sure that the customer exists in the system before the user creates the station.
- Create a station in the web application or in the mobile application.
- Add the connected devices.
- Create a call list.
- Assign the call list to the station.
It is recommended to create a call list before adding a station. It allows the selection of the call list during the station setup process. For more information, see How do I create a call list?
- Go to Stations.
- Click Add station.
- Type the station details.
- Click Next.
- Add a device:
- Click Add device.
- Select a device type.
- If the device needs a gateway, type the gateway serial number and click Add gateway.
Avensor configures the gateway. - Type the device parameters and click the Add button.
Avensor configures the device. - To add another device, repeat step 5.
- Click Next.
- For each station service, click the switch to enable or disable the service.
- Click Next.
- Review the preview:
- To edit any detail, select the applicable step in the stepper.
- To confirm the details, click Finish. Avensor creates the station.

- Go to Stations.
- Click Add station.
- Type the station details.
- Click Next.
- Click Exit setup.
- Select Create station anyway.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the Connectivity tab.
- Select a gateway type.
- Type the gateway serial number.
- Click Add gateway.
Avensor configures the gateway.
- Go to Stations.
- Select a station.
- Go to Devices.
- Click the button Add device.
- Select the device type
- For digital input, continue with these instructions.
- For digital output, continue with these instructions.
- For other device types, continue by using this instruction.
- Fill in the required text boxes.
- Click Add device.
Avensor adds the device to the station.
These instructions apply to stations that have already been added in Avensor. To add a new station and import the configuration from another station, see
'How do I add a station and import the device configurations from another station?' below.
The station that imports the device configuration must have a connected gateway and no other connected devices. It is only possible to import the device configuration from a station with the same type of gateway. Devices that do not use any gateway connection cannot be imported.
- Go to Stations.
- Select the station to import the device configuration to.
- Go to Devices.
- Click Import configuration.
- Select the station to import the device configuration from.
- Click Import.
Avensor imports the configuration.
- Go to Stations.
- Click Add station.
- Type the station details.
- Click Next.
- Import configuration:
- Click Import configuration.
- Type the gateway serial number.
- Click Add gateway. Avensor configures the gateway.
- Select the station to import the device configuration from. It is only possible to import the device configuration from a station with the same type of gateway. Devices that do not use any gateway connection cannot be imported.
- Click Import. Avensor imports the configuration.
- Optional: Add a device:
- Click Add device.
- Select a device type.
- Type the device parameters.
- Click the Add button.
Avensor configures the device.
- Click Next.
- For each station service, click the switch to enable or disable the service.
- Click Next.
- Review the preview:
- To edit any detail, select the applicable step in the stepper.
- To confirm the details, click Finish.
Avensor creates the station.
- Go to Stations.
- Select the station.
- Go to Notes.
- Click the Add note button to add a note.
- Fill in the Title and the Description field.
Click the Add button to upload an image or a PDF file to the note. - Click the Save button.
The size limit for the file is 10 MB. PNG and JPG are the supported formats for the images.
- Go to Stations.
- Select the Station.
- Go to Setting > Services.
- Click the Automatic location update switch to enable or disable the service.
- Go to Stations.
- Select the station.
- Go to Settings > Location.
- Click the Edit button.
- Go to Set the location by longitude and latitude.
- Type the Latitude and Longitude values.
The user can also set the location by dragging the pin to a location on the map and click the Save button. - Click the Set coordinates button to save the values.
Note: There is an address field in the Station details. This address is administrative and the GPS location of the CCD is not related to the address.
- Click the Stations.
- A list of stations appears.
- Select a station from the list.
- Click the station name.
- Click the OVERVIEW.
- Click Get Directions.
The map opens in a new tab with directions to the pump station.
- Go to Stations.
- Select a station.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the Services tab.
- Click the Network outage detection switch.
Avensor enables the network outage detection service.
No, the data is encrypted and is not readable when in transit from a station to Avensor.
The user can select and add the stations of interest to favorites.
- Go to Stations.
- In the stations list, hover the mouse over the station name and click the
symbol to add the station to the favorites.
The user can switch between to show all the stations or, the favorites.
When the user choose to show the favorites stations, the data is filtered for the favorites stations.
The user can add up to 100 stations in the favorites list.
It is possible to filter the station list to show, for example, stations with active alarms or with a specific device connected.
- Go to Stations.
- Open the Advanced search window.
- Select the search criteria.
- Click Apply.
The station list and map show the filtered search results.
- Go to Stations.
- Go to Data-driven view.
- Click Select data.
- Select Data point and Target.
- If required, click Add to add another data point.
- Select Time period.
- Click Apply.
The data for the selected time period shows as a sorted list.
Station model
- Go to Stations.
- Select a station.
- Go to Station model.
- Click the
button.
- Select a data point in the list.
It is not possible to select a data point that is visible by default.
The selected data point shows in a card on top of the illustrated station model.
- Go to Stations.
- Select a station.
- Go to Station model.
Click Configuration.
The configuration panel opens. - Configure the illustrated station model:
- To change the position of a pump, drag the pump icon.
- To show or hide a component, click the component switch.
The illustrated station model is updated.
- Go to Stations.
- Select a station.
- Go to the Station model.
- Click the Configuration.
- Configuration panel opens.
- Scroll down to the section Other, click to add, or remove The Duck.
The station model is designed to work with pump status and water level. If you have other data but you lack these two data points, no model is shown.
