High water quality - low costs
The LaboStar® RO DI series produces high-quality water with very low energy consumption. The use of “low-energy” membranes ensures efficient and economical operation. Each RO DI system is equipped with an integrated 7 liter storage tank. A 30 or 60 liter tank can be added as an option. The pure water is collected in a tank and transferred using an integrated circulation pump. The LaboStar RO DI is equipped with a demineralization module. The demineralization module improves the permeate to a type II water with a conductivity < 0.1 µS/cm. The system has two withdrawal points: Water can be withdrawn under pressure from the dispenser at the front of the system or from the outlet at the rear. A charged 0.2 µm sterile filter can optionally be attached to the dispenser to retain bacteria and endotoxins*. An uncharged 0.2 µm filter is also available. The LaboStar RO DI system is supplied ready to use with all consumables.
*: Only achievable with a freshly inserted sterile filter with endotoxin retention capacity (charged), and only for a limited amount of water. For larger water requirements, a system with an additional UF filter is recommended. The service life is highly dependent on the ambient conditions and must be determined on site.
